The Foundation chose to continue research on tomatoes to follow the original focus of the LYCOCARD project. To scientifically demonstrate tomato’s efficacy is a powerful way to highlight the nutritional value to consumers of all plant-based ingredients.
The following companies provided samples and knowledge of industry processes helping the Foundation to initiate the largest study of processed tomato products from all categories ever conducted.
